Ghost Infosystem


The Ghost Infosystem contains information about the ghosts you will encounter. The infosystem contains links to the Phasmophobia Wiki for the most up-to-date information, as well as a condensed mini-article about known ghost attributes, behaviours, and the like. Please be Informed, that this page Contains Only the information useful for figuring out what a given ghost is during gameplay.

The Ghost Infosystem will contain the following information for each ghost:


Evidence

A list of the three evidences a ghost can have, as well as information about forced evidences and hidden evidences.

"Forced Evidence" refers to the evidence a ghost will always have, no matter how many evidences are set in current difficulty settings - unless playing with no evidence.

"Hidden Evidence" refers to the evidence that is actually not a real evidence. The ghost will always show its hidden evidence, even if you are playing with no evidence. Currently, only The Mimic is known to have a hidden evidence - the Ghost Orbs.


Abilities

Abilities are ghost specific actions a ghost can perform. In this section the ghost's abilities will be described.


Ghost Specific Traits

This section will contain traits that only specific ghosts have. Be it additional behaviour, altered behaviour or special player based interactions.


Hunting Conditions

This section will contain information about what conditions have to be met for a ghost to initiate a hunt. I.e. at what sanity threshhold can a ghost start a normal hunt? When can't it initiate a hunt, even if the sanity threshhold is met, or when can it hunt even if the sanity threshhold is not met?

Additionally, this section contains the Smudge Safe Time.


Hunting Speed

This section shows how fast a ghost is during a hunt and under what condition.


Hunting characteristics

During hunts, the ghost will display certain behaviours. All ghosts will blink, detect player's equipment and voice, be heard within a certain range, let equipment blink in a certain range, and so on. Some ghosts have different ranges, blink differently, or will have new, ghost specific characteristics like always knowing the player location, having cold breath or switching ghost models during hunts. This section will list these characteristics.
